As many of you know I survived Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2010. This ride was started by a fellow survivor and the riders pay for all the costs of the ride so 100% of your donation goes directly to cancer research at The Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey
Riding in Century for the Cure is my opportunity to show people that being a cancer survivor does not define me for the rest of my life and that having had cancer is not a disability. My hope is that I will somehow inspire future survivors to join in the fight in some way. It also gives me a chance to give back to all the people and organizations that supported me and continue to support others that are currently battling or that will in the future.
This year I will be doing the full century ride (bike speak for 100 miles) so me and my aching butt will be working for every dollar you donate.
I am pedaling towards a cure for cancer in the 13th Annual Century for the Cure. I will be training hard for a cause that I believe in, and would appreciate your support to help me reach, and even surpass my fundraising goal!
