A personal campaign sponsored by Stephen Susan
I remember the day: August 15, 2008. My grandfather’s birthday. The day my mom told me my dad had cancer. I thought, why me? Why my dad? I asked, “Is he going to die?” With many prayers from family and friends and with the extraordinary care he received from The Cancer Institute of New Jersey(CINJ), he is alive. He is here to be my mentor, to go to my football games and to play video games with me. Unfortunately, not every kid whose parent has been diagnosed with cancer has been as blessed as I.
I am asking my family, friends, neighbors and fellow students to participate in my campaign to beat cancer. All you have to do is donate some of your used video games. These games will be taken to Game Stop and the proceeds will be donated to the CINJ Foundation.
For those of you who do not have any video games to donate, you may make a monetary contribution by clicking the “Support Me” box below. In addition, you may mail your contribution by printing and completing the Donation Form below. Please note on the Form and your check “GAME ON campaign sponsored by Stephen Susan”. Remember, all monetary gifts are tax deductible.
